I am thinking of adding an associate appraiser in the coming new year and I am wondering if people still do their own bookeeping when they have other appraisers or if they still do the books?

You could also attend meetings held by your local chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Another option: many Realtor organizations have affiliate meetings; some may actually include appraisers!
