Amerisave Appraisals???? who are they

I have been baraged with faxes from Amerisave Appraisals to "update my info" but I'v never heard of them. The marketing seemed suspecious so I goggled them and found several complaints and this little piece:

BBB Complaint Record:

“BBB processed a total of 145 complaints about this company in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period. Of the total of 145 complaints closed in 36 months, 57 were closed in the last year.”

Have any of you heard of them? any comments? with so many appraisers looking for work some folks are preying on them so wanted to put this out for comment.

Amerisave is a bait-and-switch company. They fraudulently try to rip off their customers, so I would not be surprised if they also ripped off their sub-contractors (appraisers).

I researched them several months ago and most information suggested they were aN MLM type lender, if they've now branched out into the AMC world the prospect is frightening.
