FHA GUIDELINES FOR WELL & SEPTIC

Does anyone know the FHA Guidelines for well & septic?

Norman - please go to FHA's 4150.2 and read the portion of well and septics. Here is a link http://www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/ref/chap1.cfm read down the list and you will find a listing for water systems and sewage systems. nothing like going to the real source. too much bad info going around to take a chance.

If you do FHA work it's a really good idea to make a binder of the 4150.2 and have it next to your desk with a highlighter to mark the items you refer to most often or want to remember. It's helped me many times.

Be CAREFUL asking others on this forum, each Homeownership center intreprets the guidelines a bit differently, so if you need a more complete answer, call the HOC that covers your area.
