The Appraiser's Water Cooler

THE "Social Network" for Real Estate Appraisers

Have a question, it is been a while since I have done a field review, don't like, never have. That is why my fee for them is 3x my appraisal fee. Well I had one agree to the fee and damn I have to do it. But I am having the damnest time in writing the scope of work for it. Any one have a boiler plate of scope of work for field review. I thought David program had one for field review, but I do not see it. Hint hint David.

I do know there is one on the form. I guess what I am asking is everyone using that or making their own.

Tim -

Here's something to at least get you "started". Like you . . .I generally "price" myself out of the Review Appraisal business. I'll attach a pdf to this reply too.

Thanks Brian,

That is a big help, at least I have a starting point.

For field reviews, I typically use the one on the form. It seems to cover most of the basics. For the URAR or 2055, I add a "scope of work clarification" page to detail what I did and didn't do in the inspection. But for reviews - I have been going with the form one.

I guess I will read it over again now - and consider expanding it if it doesn't hit me as complete.
