The Appraiser's Water Cooler

THE "Social Network" for Real Estate Appraisers

This was posted on the SFREP Yahoo Users Group This Evening!

Hey all.

Appraise-It 8.3 is actually no longer in Beta. The full version has been
released. It is a fundamental change in architecture and technology for
Appraise-It. This new version is 32 bit rather than the old 16 bit. This
means it will run on all versions of Windows from Windows 2000 to the new
Windows 7, both 32 bit and 64 bit. As an added benefit, it is about 4 times
faster than previous versions.

It is being rolled out to our customers in weekly waves in an effort to
manage the demand on tech support that is usually created by a major
release. So far, 8.3 has been released to North Carolina, South Carolina,
Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Puerto Rico and Rhode Island. We will be
accelerating the release schedule starting next Monday. Everyone should have
it available to them by the end of the month.

If you would rather not wait for you state to be activated, simply call our
tech support line and ask to be upgraded early.

I hope that clears things up. I think you all will like this new versions
and the new features that are coming down the pipe in the coming months.
