I'm not from that area but the REAA has a group you might be interested in. Just google the REAA and pick the chapter over that way. You'll find a group of folks that are involved and willing to help.

The interesting part of this is how will the CONSUMER react when they learn what the appraiser is being paid. So far our state board says the consumer doesnt care, but I'm not so sure of that. The rule for FHA says the appraiser cannot be forbidde...

You could also attend meetings held by your local chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Another option: many Realtor organizations have affiliate meetings; some may actually include appraisers!

Anyway, I have thousands of found train objects from the tracks. I intend to have a show, with all the objects attached to plaques, some painted, others not.. should be a good show if I ever get it done. The photos are just before and then the art will be the after. This is all just trash out there and I intend to make it beauty again....
