Talk about clowns. Just recv'd appraisal request from Seco-Link offering me $170 for full appraisal with 1004MC. Of course, I declined and offered my fee which they declined. The madness has got to stop.

Pit bull jumped fence

While I was inspecting subject property the neighbor's pit bull jumped the fence onto the subject property. Luckily I was outside the fenced area. What kind of comment should I make, if any?

It is very pathetic. There was an advertised order for Landsafe on their site all day yesterday that paid $240 for a 1004 MC and it was in a rural area. To compound that Appraisal Port takes $10 for their cut in the deal. I knew someone would take...

The only appraisers who are busy are scabs working for cut rate fees. Our business is down 60% or more since May 1st, but I refuse to work for half my original fees. I got my appraisal license in 1997 and I have never seen it this slow.
